History and beauty combine to create the ever-graceful Tairoa Lodge. Surrounded by sweeping lawns, towering kauri and pohutukawa. Tairoa Church Hall is open during the festival for its famous Ploughman’s Lunch overlooking the garden and expansive lawn. Artists-in-residence are locals Celeste Cole, Caryl Murray and Bianca Mitchell.
