COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter:
The promoter of this competition is the Taranaki Garden Festival Trust, organiser of the Centuria Garden Festival.
2. Eligibility:
This competition is open to all New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over, who reside outside of Taranaki – except employees of Taranaki Garden Festival Trust, Taranaki Arts Festival Trust, their immediate families, employees of Centuria, or anyone else professionally connected with the competition.
3. Competition Period:
The competition begins on Wednesday August 28th at 9am and ends on September 25th at 12pm. (the “Competition Period”). Entries received after the Competition Period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter:
Participants can enter the competition by visiting the garden festival website www.gardenfestnz.co.nz and completing the entry form during the Competition Period. Only one entry per email is allowed.
5. Prize:
The prize includes:
2 nights accommodation at either The Plymouth or Auto Lodge, checking in Fri, Nov 8th, checking out Sunday Nov 10th.
$500 prezzy card
20 Garden Entry Tickets (worth $100)
2 x Twilight Tour tickets (worth $200)
2 x Jo McCarroll Through the Pages event tickets (worth $150)
$100 restaurant voucher.
The total approximate retail value of the prize is $1760. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
6. Winner Selection:
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Competition Period. The draw will take place on Thurs, Sep 26th at 10am. The winner will be notified by email or phone within 24 hours of draw.Â
7. Winner Notification and Acceptance:
The winner must respond to the notification within 3 working days, providing all requested details. If the winner does not respond within the specified time, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner.Â
8. Prize Delivery:
Details regarding the delivery or collection of the prize will be provided to the winner once they have accepted the prize. The promoter will not be responsible for any delays or issues with the delivery of the prize.
9. Publicity:
By entering this competition, the winner agrees to participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by the promoter, including the use of their name and photograph in promotional materials.
10. Data Protection:
The promoter will collect and process participants’ personal information for the purposes of administering this competition.Â
11. Limitation of Liability:
The promoter will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from entering this competition or from the acceptance or use of the prize. Nothing in these terms shall limit the promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.
12. General:
The promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or withdraw the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice. The decision of the promoter in all matters relating to this competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
