with Tropical Treasures
Shane and Sharolyn have been rare plant collectors for some time — and they love to share their knowledge and plants.
Learn all about epiphytic plants, including staghorn ferns, orchids, bromeliads and tillandsias, from Sharolyn at this interactive workshop.
You will also be able see epiphytes in-situ, growing harmoniously on and alongside the couple’s collection of cold-hardy varieties of palms and sub-tropicals.
Their passion keeps growing and, over the past three years, they have transformed their property from a tangled overgrown woodland into Tropical Treasures nursery. “A lot of people thought we were mad when we first moved… sub-tropicals won’t grow here we were told, well come and see for yourself!”
